Mail today.................

Look what I picked up at the post office today.....
....... are you envious, you should be?
I bought this delicious book when Fiona opened her online store here and it's even better in the flesh so to speak.........

.........being a gardener and a quilter I couldn't resist The colours are fabulous, the quilting is amazing. The style is quite folksy/naive but the colours are definitely 21st century vibrant. There are quite a few patterns as well as the quilt on the cover and most of the templates are full size, I like that, no fiddling around resizing.

So, now I've done a review for you, I'm off to do some thinking on Mum and Dad's quilt. I had a minor (well, a small major) disaster last night, when I work it all out I'll tell you what happened. I can't explain and think at the same time, I must have caught 'can't multi-task' from a male somewhere! ;o)

P.S. It's raining - hurray

'Rain, rain stay around

We need you to wet the ground'

Lizzie, I love your header, do you reallyhave snow? I am a mild shade of green if you do. Here it is just cold but the bit of rain we have had has at least greened things up and the lamb drop should be healthier than last year.
What a wonderful quilting book! Not that I have ime to do any but my daughter bought a book about historical quilts recently which was a gem.

Oh, ha ha, the word for verification is 'prosy'... chortle, chortle

I have no idea what a no rely block is let alone how you either activate it or deactivate it ... aaI'M just an old duffer.guelses

I own that book and l0ve it! I brought it to staples and had it rebound with a coiled binding so it would lie flat as I worked with the pattern, It only costs 5 dollars~ Have fun with it!

Hi Lizzie!

First of all.... WOW.... gosh that book is just gorgeous. I love the colours! So warm and scrumptious, and I love the designs of big florals with stippling around them. Absolutely stunning.

But secondly, I had to laugh! Because I'm not a great multi-tasker at the best of times! I get so focussed that I can't be swayed... and when I drive I can not hold a decent conversation at the same time! I thought I was the only woman on the planet who couldn't multi-task! Yours might not be such a permanent thing as mine, though!

Hugs! Vikki xx
