Not much sewing going on.....

....just had to make another one of these today....

I made the light one ages ago for Miss Martha. It's really difficult to buy 'nice' dog leashes, they're all either big and butchy, not very nice for little fluff balls, or just plain red or blue or green twill type stuff. Only being a little dog, she doesn't need a big strong thing, she's a good walker too, doesn't pull or wander around. A jelly strip is the perfect length for us to hold on to, a swivel clip that I bought for bags, a bit of lightweight iron on vilene and there you have it...

..oohh, a new leash, thanks Mum, that's nice..........
What she doesn't know is that it's not for her :o)
We're taking a little road trip to Shepparton tomorrow and who knows what we may bring home...........????

ps. another road trip on December 4th to Mildura, accomodation booked, days off for the Railway Man booked, quilt ready for delivery.....!

Lovely leash Lizzie..and a good idea of you too to make them yourself..you are so right..most of the leashes one can buy are so boring and much to heavy for such a little cute one....so... it wont be a Rottweilerpup you are bringing home i guess...have a safe trip!
greetings Francien.

I have made a few leashes and collars as well. So much nicer than those you can purchase. Looking forward to seeing who will be coming home with you!

The good thing about going away is that when you get back you read blogs backwards and I now know how cute Molly will look in her designer leash.
